Kimi Biegler

Kimi Biegler (they/them) is a grown unschooler from the northeast who now lives in Orlando, FL, with their best dog, Lily. They’ve been working at Disney World since 2021 as a monorail pilot. Since starting their unschooling journey in 2004, Kimi has enjoyed pursuing interests in: traveling (21 countries, 36 states!), dancing (swing & blues - sometimes teaching!), LARPing (nerd alert!), LEGOs (double-nerd alert!), and growing house plants. Kimi is also passionately cultivating a community in which to explore mental health and gender & sexuality and how to better support our communities, local and global. Throughout their teenage years while at unschooling conferences and camps and at a homeschool coop, Kimi led and co-led numerous discussion groups, classes, and workshops covering topics such as: book discussion, improv games, tween/teen peer support group, queer discussion groups and panels, and swing dancing.
